Fiona Timoney is Regional Business & Relationship Development Manager with IDA Ireland for the North East Region, a role she has held since 2018. IDA Ireland is Ireland’s inward investment promotion agency, responsible for attracting and developing foreign direct investment into the country. Fiona works closely with existing and prospective investors to strengthen relationships and promote the North East as a competitive location for international business.

Before taking on her current role, Fiona served as a Legal Executive with IDA Ireland for 18 years, providing legal and compliance support across property and investment projects. Prior to returning to Ireland, she spent over a decade in London as a Legal Executive, gaining extensive experience in legal administration and corporate governance.

Fiona’s deep knowledge of the region, combined with decades of experience in legal and business development roles, makes her a key contributor to IDA Ireland’s mission of driving investment and supporting economic growth in the North East.
